Medford NY Post Office Adjusts Hours for October 2025 to Serve Community Better

The Medford NY Post Office has announced updated operating hours for October 2025, effective immediately. According to Postmaster Michael Johnson, these adjustments aim to better serve the community's needs during the fall season.

"Starting October 1st, our post office will maintain regular hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturdays," Johnson stated in a recent interview. "We've extended our Saturday hours by 30 minutes to accommodate increased foot traffic as the holiday season approaches."

The post office, located at 262 Nyman Drive, Medford, NY 11763, will continue to offer all regular services including package pickup, mail sorting, and retail services. Additionally, the facility has recently installed two new self-service kiosks to reduce wait times during peak hours.

"We're also preparing for the upcoming holiday season," Johnson added. "Beginning November 1st, we'll extend our weekday hours until 6:00 PM to help residents with early holiday mailing needs."

For customers who prefer not to visit in person, the post office reminds the community that online services through USPS.com remain available 24/7. Mobile postal units will also be stationed at various locations throughout Medford on specific weekends in October.
